damn i am so pissed at these sights that now put graphical things where you need to fill them in to joindifferent webofferings google yahoo and now even aim it is frustratingas hell.
I had a topic on this a while back; yes, it's annoying. And, unless the website has an audio description that will speak the letters in the picture (Most do not,) then you're out of luck unless you ask someone to read it, which slows the process.

The reason these sites do this is because of these information bots that do nothing but collect personal info, hence the word verification.
I know why they do it, but it's still annoying. I have friends that are more than willing to read them to me, but I don't always feel like waiting several hours (or days) to get onto a specific site. By that time, I've usually decided it's not worth the effort.
